1. Start-Up: Ignite, Inspire & Innovate (11-11-2025)

The Startup Cell organized a session titled “Start-Up: Ignite, Inspire & Innovate” on 8th November 2025 at Loyola Hall for B.Com (Professional) 2nd and 3rd year students to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. The event began with a welcome by Amit Toppo, followed by an insightful talk by Dr. Ashok Kumar, who explained the role of the Startup Cell, government funding opportunities, and support systems like the District Industries Centre (DIC).
An interactive session addressed student queries on startup loans, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Zubiya, making it an informative and motivating experience for aspiring entrepreneurs.

2. Startup India Mission: Opportunity for College Students (17-01-2026)

A session on “Startup India Mission: Opportunities for College Students” was held on 17 January 2026 at Kalam Hall for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students to promote awareness and encourage an entrepreneurial mindset. The program began with the college anthem, followed by the felicitation of guests by Fr. Dr. Sherry George and Dr. Rakesh Kumar. Mr. Dhiraj Kumar spoke on taxation, GST, and financial planning for startups, while Mr. Anand Kumar Giri discussed risk management, policy frameworks, and ethical practices. An interactive session allowed students to clarify their doubts on startup-related topics. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Ayush Xess, and was anchored by Mr. Amit Toppo with support from Mr. Abhinav Singh, under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Kumar, making it an informative and motivating session for aspiring entrepreneurs.

3. Pitch Competition (31-01-2026)

The Startup Cell successfully organized a Pitch Competition on 31st January 2026 for students of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year across various academic programs, aiming to promote entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and practical exposure. The event began with the College Anthem, followed by the felicitation of judges by Fr. Dr. Sherry George and Dr. Rakesh Kumar. A total of 12 groups participated, showcasing creativity and business ideas, out of which five teams were shortlisted through a screening round conducted on 30th January 2026 by Dr. Rachna Thakkar. The final presentations were evaluated by a panel comprising Dr. Kalpana Kumari, Dr. Piyush Ranjan Sahay, and Ms. Dolly Bharti based on innovation, feasibility, and presentation skills. Code No. 5 secured the 1st position, followed by Code No. 3 and Code No. 1. The competition concluded successfully, encouraging entrepreneurial spirit, confidence, and practical learning among students.

4. Taxation for Business and Startup (13-02-2026)

On 13/02/2026, the Startup Cell organized an informative session on Taxation for Business and Startups at St. Xavier College of Management and Technology. The session was conducted by Dr. Farhaan Khalid Sir, who shared valuable insights on the importance of taxation compliance for emerging businesses. He mainly focused on GST registration, explaining its procedures, eligibility criteria, benefits, and legal requirements for startups and small enterprises. He also highlighted how proper GST registration helps businesses build credibility, claim input tax credit, and avoid penalties. The session was highly interactive and beneficial for students, enhancing their practical understanding of taxation in the startup ecosystem.

5. Crisis Boardroom (18-02-2026)

On 18th February 2026, students from St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology participated in the inter-college event “Crisis Boardroom,” organized by the Amity School of Business under Amity University Patna in association with Udyogan, where 11 teams competed in solving real-world corporate and startup crisis scenarios. Three teams represented the college through the Startup Cell, comprising students from BBA, BCA, and BCP across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, who showcased strong innovation and teamwork. The competition included a startup pitch round followed by a merged crisis-based round that tested participants’ strategic thinking, adaptability, and decision-making under pressure. Demonstrating outstanding performance, Komal Anand and Aditi secured the Winner position, while Astitva and Tarunima were declared Runner-Up, bringing pride to the institution. The event concluded with an insightful session by Sachin Kumar, founder of Sattuz, and overall provided valuable exposure to real-world business challenges while highlighting the entrepreneurial capabilities of the students.

6. MSME Speech Competition (28-02-2026)

The Startup Cell of St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology, Patna organized a speech competition on “MSME: Backbone of the Indian Economy” at De Nobili Hall for B.Com (Professional) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students to promote awareness about the role of MSMEs and enhance public speaking skills. A total of 13 participants presented insightful speeches on the importance, challenges, and contributions of MSMEs to the Indian economy. The event was judged by Anisha Bharti, along with faculty members Priya Gupta and Tracy John. Anish Raj secured the first position, followed by Srishti Akshay and Vedika Jain. The program was anchored by Zubiya and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ayush Xess, making it an informative and motivating experience for all participants

7. Amiphoria: Idea in Motion (17-03-2026)

During Amity University's vibrant annual fest, Amiphoria 2026, our team "The White Crunch" comprising Aman Raj (BBA 1E, Roll No. 267) and Shubham Raj (BBA 1E, Roll No. 317) participated in the prestigious "Idea in Motion" pitch competition. Facing tough competition from 15 other teams, each consisting of two members, we delivered a compelling pitch that earned us the runner-up position. This experience not only sharpened our entrepreneurial knowledge and presentation skills but also exposed us to phenomenal rivalry, as every team showcased brilliant, innovative ideas with unwavering dedication. What truly set us apart was our polished presentation style, marked by exceptional confidence, clear articulation, and engaging delivery, which captivated the judges and audience alike. This achievement underscores our team's potential in dynamic business environments and reinforces the value of Amity's platforms for fostering real-world skills.

8. Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (24-03-2026)

Today’s Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme organized by MSME was highly informative and inspiring. The session began with an introduction by Dr. Sheeta, who set the context of the seminar. Shri Bharat Ranjan shared his startup journey of “Ma Khana” and his experience of working with the Bihar Government, which motivated the students. Mr. Vivek Kumar, Project Manager, provided valuable insights, and Dr. Rochak Kumar played an important role in organizing the event successfully. Abhijeet Sir also explained key concepts of marketing and discussed the importance of Artificial Intelligence in today’s business world. Overall, the seminar was very useful and encouraged students to think about entrepreneurship.
