Welcome to the Department of Computer Science. It gives me immense pleasure to lead a department that stands at the forefront of innovation and learning. The 21st century has been defined by technological transformation — and computer science lies at the very heart of this revolution.

Our department offers a strong foundation in core computer science while embracing forward-looking specialisations. We are proud to offer two dedicated branches — Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Data Science — designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Students gain practical experience through well-equipped labs, hackathons, internships, and collaborative research projects. I encourage all students to be curious, experiment boldly, and make full use of the opportunities here — the journey is challenging but deeply rewarding.
